Rick will be teaching a workshop at the Southeast Museum of Photography on April 14, 2012. The workshop is about basic concepts of Digital Photography.
In January, 2012, it was announced that Rick was awarded a Artist Development Grant from United Arts of Central Florida. He was awarded $2,500 to travel to Western Tennessee. Keep checking with this blog for entries while on the trip. The trip will be from May 16th to the end of the month. 
Rick will have a portfolio of his work featured in the Extended version of LensWork Magazine #96, the September/October 2011 issue.
October 29, 2011: Rick Lang will be speaking at the Society for Photographic Education’s 2011 Southeast Regional Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC. The lecture will be about his 20 year project photographing signs found along the side of the road in the Southern landscape.
This summer (2011) 12 photographs of Rick’s social landscapes was selected by museum director, Kevin Miller, for the permanent collection of the Southeast Museum of Photography, Daytona Beach FL.
